Sundays at St. Michael's

Coming along to a church service for the first time, or just to a different church, can be a little daunting, but having an idea about what to expect can make it easier, which is why we’ve written this short guide. We’d love to help you find your feet here and introduce you to what we get up to on a Sunday!

Service times

As a church we gather twice on a Sunday, for services at 10:30am and 6:30pm.

10:30am

This service usually involves a time of sung worship, a talk, and prayer ministry. It’s a gathering ideal for young families, as we hold Sunday groups during the service for children and young people aged 0-13.

6:30pm

This is a more informal service, popular with students and young adults, starting with tea and cake at 6:30pm followed by sung worship, a talk, a testimony, and prayer ministry.

What to expect

When you arrive, you will be greeted at the door by our Wardens, who’d love to answer any questions you may have. We usually have refreshments at the end of our morning service too, so it’d be great if you could stay after the end of the service for a tea/coffee and the chance for us to get to know you better!
